    You musn't count the years they were on tour though...
    And yes I know Zooropa was recorded during a tour, but now they haven't so it's more like 2,5 years...

  9. pre-AB is not the way to go. That sounds like HTDAAB.

  10. That's exactly what I think Adam's words describe. The same "comeback sound" that HTDAAB meant in its moment.
  11. Maybe they sound like Boy. Punk sound from U2, blues and indie rrom Dangermouse.
  12. My guess as well -- old U2: the basic Post-Punk, Edge Explorer textured adolescence of Boy, the similar sounding and softer October with some expansions (piano, flute whistle, etc), and the muscular assertiveness of War.
