U2.com = Live Nation pure and simple business company, everything is alright when cash get in .. and of course the subscriptions (and anything fans releated) always satisfy them so they don't need any effort to change things
  2. I don't really understand the hate for the pitch Bono's singing in. He sounds fucking great to me for being 53...He's hitting all the notes, and a lot of that vocal is falsetto, so he won't be "getting tired" singing it, it sounds like it's right in his range. It's not nearly as high as "CRAZY TONIGHT" on the album version, which was horrendous because the surrounding vocals were so low.

To me this is a fantastic vocal.

    + 1!

And a nice little tune, too
  4. Ditto! It's sounds very danceable but not exhausting, Edges light guitar touch creating this sweeping percussive touch and, of course, Bono's vocals as powerful and passionate as ever. Of course it would be nice to listen to the whole thing, so until this is released as a single, I won't be analyzing it too much.
  5. I don't get what all the fuss is about.
  6. about the actor .. he doesn't look like Mandela at all hehe
  7. I just heard the audio fragment for the first time and I love it. It reminds me of their cover of This Is. I am exited for the next album!

I think so too, that's where Bono got his inspiration, kinda like both songs actually.
  9. anyone notice the last 10-15 seconds of the soundbite sounds beautiful musically? I hear icy keyboard and beautiful guitar that sounds really exciting

Yeah, it's brutal, I can't get enough of it.
