1. it also applies to the opposite
  2. Yeah, but the views of that "opposite" aren't that repetitive...
  3. Just listened to it, Electrical Storm part 2
  4. I just wish there was a sentence in there about whether or not it'll be on the album or not. If it's not on the album it could sound pretty different from what they're putting out to represent themselves alone. All of their songs that were made specifically for movies sound nothing like what they were doing at the time (IMO) so who knows. Obviously this is very Danger Mouse-y so I have no doubt it was at least done in the same sessions, but who's to say this wasn't just a one-off and they kept the most interesting stuff for themselves?

That being said, the tidbits we do hear in that trailer to me ARE very interesting, so either way this swings I'm super psyched for the next few months

    Exactly what I thought.

  6. Quite radical opinion for having listened to a 30% of the song, dude.
  7. I wanted to hear it a couple of times before I'd share my opinion.
And my conclusion is I can't give one

It sounds promising, BUT it's very short, you hear different small cuts and there's talking during the music, so...

PLUS imo, if you compare this to North Star from Transformers, a song cut into a movie isn't comparable to a full album/live song. At all.

  8. He sounds like he shouldn't be singing like that to me

  9. It's just way too high. When he did high notes on songs like No Line, Moment Of Surrender, This Is and Breathe, they sounded fine.

If these vocals were pitched down just a fraction and turned down in the mix, it'd be listenable. I can only hope the whole next album doesn't have these vocal styles attached.

Finally, I'm not the only one!
