1. Let's hope it's true! Still can't forgive myself for not attending Madrid'12... I hope I can take that off my back next year
  2. 1999-08-27 - FLEET CENTER, BOSTON, MA

CANDY'S ROOM / THE TIES THAT BIND / ADAM RAISED A CAIN / PROVE IT ALL NIGHT / TWO HEARTS / RENDEZVOUS / DARLINGTON COUNTY / MANSION ON THE HILL / POINT BLANK / YOUNGSTOWN / MURDER INCORPORATED / BADLANDS / OUT IN THE STREET / TENTH AVENUE FREEZE-OUT / WORKING ON THE HIGHWAY / SPIRIT IN THE NIGHT / THE GHOST OF TOM JOAD / NEW YORK CITY SERENADE / LIGHT OF DAY - I HEAR A TRAIN / JUNGLELAND / BORN TO RUN / THUNDER ROAD / IF I SHOULD FALL BEHIND / RAISE YOUR HAND (with Peter Wolf) / BOBBY JEAN / LAND OF HOPE AND DREAMS

Audience and IEM tape. "Tour premiere of "Raise Your Hand" is with guest Peter Wolf. "Candy's Room" opens. "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" includes "It's All Right", "Take Me To The River", and "Red Headed Woman". "New York City Serenade" has its second performance of the tour. "Light Of Day" includes "I Hear A Train" and "I've Been Everywhere". "If I Should Fall Behind" features a section where Bruce is swapping guitars as his stops working. Available on CD's "Boss-ton Rocks" and "Rendezvous".

apart from the obvious 'time to make a three course meal' moment (talk about sublime to the ridiculous) it's what a proper set list looks like.

I think I'd rather get NYCS into Light of Day than Jland into Pay Me MMD like he did this year!

It's a great set opening four is terrific, then Rendezvous , Point Blank, Spirit, NYCS, Jland and Raise a your Hand. Would have loved to have seen this one.
  4. How does Persic do it? Honestly once again, if you told me Mountain View 88 was a soundboard, I'd believe you
  5. the bloke's a genius as i've told him and you don't get any of this flac only - pseudo 'animal farm' all animals are equal but some are more equal than others - nonesense or having to jump through hoops to get his recordings. they go up, make their way around the world and everyone enjoys them.
  6. He is arguably the best audience taper in the world. The only other person who could pip him to that title would be alysha in my opinion. I cannot think of any others who make such brilliant tapes consistently (maybe MLK/MLKLuke)?. Does he tape IEMs nowadays as well? I don't think I've seen as many of his from the more recent years (which suggests to me perhaps IEM and aud taping?)
  7. Persic unarguably has a looonngggg history of great recordings at his back
  8. i've never seen an iem labelled with his name

  9. Neither but I thought he may tape aud and release to the masses and perhaps be in a trading circle with IEMs. No idea though
  10. clearly he wouldn't tell me if he was but none of the messages i've exchanged with him or his mates from jems have led me to believe that - i know there's an urban myth on btx about inner circles but if they exist and it's a big if, something always gets out. personally i don't think they exist other than a few bits and pieces. The only indication of uncirculating Bruce stuff we didn't know about has been in heyling's book - in the list of unreleased recordings. All the other stuff that's rumoured is the usual forum crap, btx or otherwise, that they've convinced themselves exists without any proof. I think i said once i got accused of being in the inner circle because i had cincinnatti on dvd - which i bought from a market! Some videos or recordings of gigs may have escaped from bruce's vault, just as they escape from say Bowie's but it's not as widespread as is suggested. Although Bruce's suggestion that he didn't know how much there was in storage when he started doing tracks is clearly another of his well rehearsed interview pieces of rubbish - the piles of film footage that can be seen in the darkness box dvd is clear indication that's not true. Since darkness and river rehearsals are both entirely filmed and much of nebraska is his original tape with some overdubs then he is clearly aware that recordings are made throughout and to suggest otherwise is niaive at best and stupid at worst.
