    Dave Keuning has recently said that he is sick of touring. "I am sick of this, I'm done, the end is in sight." Very easy to read into that way too much.

    I wonder if his back-up guitarist feels the same. : )

  3. They finally played Shot at the Night last night... I guess they wanted to debut it in Vegas with Mark back.



    No really good audio recordings have serviced yet, so this will have to do for now.

  5. Seriously bitter. I agree with him in a sense but he's shitting on it like he's fucking Liam Gallagher. He's american! What American uses the word rubbish? Who is he trying to appeal to!!!! Between this, the greatest hits , another solo album, all the whining about touring and those 2 new songs id say I'm done with these guys for a while.

  10. Ok, so Direct Hits has leaked, with the 2 new songs. It's a killer tracklist no doubt, but I still can't see why it'd be neccesary after only 4 albums and a half. Great cover on the other hand:

  11. I completely lost faith in this band. Luckily, AF is better than ever!
  12. Although I too think it's a stupid move, maybe the label was leaning on them to do this and they just said "what the hell, we can even put a couple new songs on it too".

    I think the band is in a more niche/alternative position than they want to be. They're not mainstream like they were when Hot Fuss came out, they're definitely becoming a cult band because their sound is so odd and a lot of people either dislike them or barely know them. I think this Greatest Hits is trying to rectify that a bit.

    Don't think it'll work though.
