1. Enjoy! The reviews said their concert here last month (and I suppose everywhere else) was superb, so I hope you'll have a great time I will pray so they don't play a lot of material from In This Light...
  2. The Heavy are back in the UK this month but their Manchester gig falls on a work day so I can't attend

Superb is the word for tonight aswell

They actually played 6 songs from that album. It's not my favorite either, but I like Eat Raw Meat = Blood Drool because it's, euhm, different. And Papillon gets the crowd going everytime of course. What a party !

But damn, Sugar, Honesty, Smokers, Racing Rats, Bullets, Munich, A Ton Of Love, Two Hearted Spider, Lights, All Sparks, Someone Says, Bones, An End Has A Start, Formaldehyde, Nothing, The Phone Book... So many great songs.

Seriously, anyone, you might not know this band so much, or say they're so-so on record, but they're amazing live ! It's kinda like U2, you have to see them live to know what it's like. You won't be disappointed.
  4. Lucky you!

U2 are amazing on record to

I don't get why does the crowd love Papillon so much, it's an awful song from an awful album that should never have existed. Anyway, the rest of the hits make up for it I guess. Virtually all my favorites are in there, Munich, Smokers, The Racing Rats, All Sparks, An End, Bones, Bullets... Wow. Didn't they play "Blood"? I guess we should continue in the Editors thread but anyway
  6. Alter Bridge in a few hours! ;D

Ok yes, but U2 is out of the league as we all know

I would, but I'm just talking to myself over there

And nope, no "Blood" this time. I heard it at Werchter and it sounds amazing too indeed.

But euhm, I actually love Papillon. So energetic. It kicks like a sleep twitch

BTW, I could go to Arctic Monkeys next week. Should I ? Don't know them very good actually

Blood is one of their bests in my opinion.

Well, we'll agree to disagree on Papillon... And that's where our similarity ends

Oh, and you should go to the Monkeys indeed. Although not sure if you'll enjoy their show without being a huge fan, they're playing a lot of songs from their last and 2nd album that you might not recognise, as well as not playing big hits from the past like Still Take You Home, 505 or When The Sun Goes Down (unforgivable ). But me as a fan can do anything but recommend you to go!
  9. Héhé, oh well, no problem

Well I think "Do I wanna know ?" is an effin' great song, so now I'm exploring that record... We'll see Thanks for the advice !
  10. Back from my week concert tour. Saw The Cult twice, Tilburg and Cologne, with Cologne being the outstanding show. Nice venue, good sound and finally an artist who really addressed the crowd not to film but to listen to the music. Then yesterday Queens of the Stone Age in Dusseldorf. First time I saw them, really impressive.
