  1. I will never understand the appeal of Pop.

    I'll also never understand why people dislike ATYCLB when it was the album that essentially pulled them out of the hole that Pop put them in.


    EDIT: The first statement should be narrowed down to "I will never understand the appeal of Miami and Playboy Mansion" The other songs, I can see why they are loved, but they aren't my cup of tea.

  4. Pop is far better than ATYCLB... I hope the new album will be unusual like Zooropa and Pop and that they will bring Pop songs back during the tour, at least for an encore, Last Night on Earth come to meeeeeeee

    Unusual is the right word. Just something else than the songs we heard the last 13 yeats. Zooropa and Pop are albums that don't really fit U2, Zooropa (the song) is so unlike U2 but so good.

    Something refreshing will do good, maybe not in the charts but for U2 fans it will. Ordinary Love does good now, because of Mandela's dead, but just sounds so mehhhhh. Nothing suprising in there.
