1. the single is ready to come out .. package and everything

  2. not knowing which side of The Clash he's referred to, i really hope they didn't "cut the crap"
(meaning i really hope it does not sound like that album which, by the way, doesn't exist in my world hehehe)
  3. I think when someone says "this sounds like XXX" they mean the most well known material of that band.

For example: "Coldplay sounds like U2" (like The Joshua Tree, not like Passengers or Pop)

So I bet the journalist means it sounds like Sandinista, like London Calling, etc. Who knows though!
  4. in any case they already did punk rock from Venus (or Mars?) hehehe
  5. you forgot to say Sex Pistols, Soul and old school R&B
  6. It's getting real. .com posted the LA Times article too.

  7. hahahaha yes, I've seen it again and again I've laughed out loud
  8. That pic didn't show up in my iphone for some reason ?

A moment later the U2 frontman had cranked up a track from the band's work-in-progress album, an anthemic number about leaving one's hometown titled "Invisible." As the song played, he spiritedly played air guitar to it, also belting along with the track's vocals — Bono performing a duet with himself.

The band, which of course also includes guitarist Edge, bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen Jr., came up with the concept of a collection of songs told partly from the perspective of an innocent and partly from a seasoned veteran. And they brought on the electronic dance music producer Danger Mouse to help them craft it.

So they're again going with the concept they were trying with NLOTH?
