1. I never heard of that approach, vaseline or tree oil seems much simpeler.
  2. Yeah I agree but just remember to use a blob of vaseline and hopefully kitty doesn't lick it off.
I've never had tics on my dog but he suffers from spring/summer alergies, so a blistery rash and all I can give him is honey to eat (sposed to be good) but it looks sore but the vet charged me heaps last time I went so I do my own thing for him now unless it gets in his ears then its 90 dollars later and a course of antihistamines for his ears.
The rash is worse too if you lubricate it so we have to keep him dry.
    Pets hey ?
  3. Yeah, lots of work involved with pets. Luckily tic-season doesnt start here for a few months.
  4. Bought myself another Nokia N8 to try and get back into snapping more pics. If I warm to it I think I'll get an 808 Pureview.

    haahhaha gotta love ya

  6. We use something called Frontline on the cat. You put it on its neck and it's a sort of poison that gets into their skin I think. Haven't found a tick on him yet, so it seems to work.

I'd guess I've had 50+ ticks on myself throughout my life. Don't get them so often nowadays though, guess because I'm not outside as much as I was when I was a little kid. I'm vaccinated against TBE. Borrelia/Lyme's disease is of course a risk too. But ticks aren't that dangerous here.

Hahaha well, I expect some pics here soon then

  8. I think I'll swap out the body for a blue one. But lovely camera.

Yeah we had also some stuff, but our cat loved to go through the bushes in the spring and summer. So still some ticks.

50 ticks? Juck I dislike those blood suckers
  10. Rotterdam an hour ago. Ruined most of my photos. Had to race over there and had only a few minutes to get a shot in before the sun went down :/

This one turned out pretty cool!

  11. I wish I could grab my bike, but it's too cold now...Lovely sunset, I absolutely love it
