  1. I just listened to Invisible (for the fifth time today) and played City of Blinding Lights right after it and I think it could be a good little team up on a setlist. I pictured the crowd and Bono chanting "There is no them/thee is no them/there's only us/there's only you and there's only me" during the first few seconds of City.
  2. Damn this song is the most addictive single/song by them since Beautiful Day/Elevation/Vertigo/City of Blinding Lights were singles. I can't even remember how times I have listened to it in the past 24 hours lol.

  6. I'm more impressed that a 36 years old song like my beloved Sultans Of Swing has made it on to #9 But yeah, it's great to see U2 up there!!!
  7. So, continuing on what Dieder posted there, overall in songs, Invisible is showing up only in the Spanish iTunes chart.

    Ordinary Love is still top 10 in 5 countries.

    But if we go to the rock songs chart, like the one Dieder posted, it's a whole other story.

    Invisible's there for:
    France (2)
    Australia (8)
    Austria (8)
    Belgium (9)
    Ireland (7)
    Italy (3)
    Luxembourg (2)
    The Netherlands (1)
    Spain (2)
    Sweden (5)

    What's also interesting is that WOWY and Beautiful Day are also showing up in the rock charts.
    In the US, Invisible itself is not there, but WOWY and BD are. I think this is from when Invisible was Free, iTunes showed WOWY and BD on the top list for other songs by U2. People maybe liked Invisible and went and bought other U2 songs

    I was terribly worried when they released the teaser that it would be a central part of the song, and it's sort of a hokey line to revolve a song around.

    But as a little insert at the end, I like it. Way to show some discretion, U2.

    I was JUST thinking that right after I posted the chart results I thought why am I happy that these guys are making more money?!

    BTW - just watching the ad again...how did they control this mass of people from leaking stuff out? I know there were tweets about a secret videoshoot, new cool song, but nothing more, not even a line of the lyrics...how? Confidentiality contracts?!

    I think there were maybe just 20 or 30 people and they added the rest with computers.

  12. #51 in the UK iTunes chart. Much higher than I expected.
