1. I think only one thing: when we will give the new album? Only we are thrilled ... obviously that's their style
  2. the full song video is actually quite dull compared to the commercial. still a good video though
  3. Still digging this beauty after about 5 days of constant playback. I'm pretty sure this is not my undying loyaty talking.
  4. And I just checked out the video, dig that too. Couldn't help but think what a great addition to the live set it will be. Larry looks rather strange in it though.
  5. It looks too artificial to me.
  6. Great video!!!
  7. I'm loving this song more and more every day!

But the video doesn't work for me at all.
I still think 'Invisible' deserves a totally different, more meditative (and much better) videoclip, instead of this not-so-good 'semi-live' choreographed artificial thing with an 'so-called' fan crowd of jumping actors.... Please let the album be accompanied by more stylish beauty visually, with graceful and atmospheric Anton Corbijn-ish videos with B/W images of u2.

Videoclips are almost always recorded with a playback version of the song, sometimes sped-up, sometimes slowed-down, but never actually live. I think that even the famous rooftop Streets videoclip was recorded with the band playing along to a playback version of it. I don't think the band actually got to perform Invisible in front of that crowd.

I like the video. Not passionately but I like it enough to actually enjoy watching it. They look fantastic although a bit over-acted (is that a word, lol?).

  9. What you call artificial, I call surreal and stylised. If we wanted a real live performance we could chuck on any number of DVDs. I respect your opinion, I just think they've gone with something I'm not used to seeing them doing. For a first track, they usually go with them lypsyncing somewhere outrageous like a runway or some sort of earthquake. I like how they've gone with some little more subtle and intimate but exciting.
  10. I dig the video. I reminds me of the ipod commercials back in the days when I was a budding U2 fan. Bono with sunglasses looking cool singing into a microphone. In fact they all look pretty damn cool. It makes me damn excited for a tour!

Bono looks bloody cool doesn't he? Those glasses, it's almost like the aviators from the ZooTV evangelist. One thing that's slightly offputting is those two or three seconds at the start of him walking down the stage like a male model. I cringed inside for a fleeting moment.
  12. It's their best video since Pop era!
