Cool! I was worried we would not be able to hear the better version because of Oscar Rights to it all and we would get into trouble for having it.
Bit like preaching it was a good performance but not being able to prove it and if you did you get sued
Interscope promo edit of Ordinary Love, found by a U2wanderer member. It seems to be the version that was featured on the Mandela pre-screening copies of the movie.
I just have been so busy, can't really scroll through 48 pages of this thread...does anybody know if the version on the Mandela soundtrack is different than the free one we got from U2.com?
Been on the road a lot in recent days and heard quite a lot of radio. What surprised me, I hardly hear The Miracle although SOI tops the Album Charts here. What I do hear, is this freakin' little lost single called Ordinary Love.
I must say, I quite like it. I've always done. I can imagine that there's some hate for this song, but it catches me everytime I hear it.
One of the Radio-DJ's that played it said he thinks it's one of their best in recent years and that it is quite unbelievable that it isn't included on the album. Does this say something about Holland and our perhaps mediocre taste for music? Or it this song underestimated?
Do you guys and girls think it will be played live on the tour?
