You definitely have a point there. I'd still welcome it though because I like things like this and I feel like if it isn't released their discography is incomplete because of the other Best Ofs...that's just me though.
and if they were too include songs like Winter, North Star, Mercy that would look pretty awkward since we can probably assume that they would finish them off around the time of the compilation release.
