The band really only warmed up to it recently. Before 2013 it was a rarity. Not a bad song , I'd rather see it in an encore not the second spot.
  3. I think Low Light would better as a "rest" song after they play a bunch of quick, heavy tunes (say at around position #8 or #9 in the set) than too early or too late in the set. Kind of around where they tend to play Pilate these days. Low Light is a decent song (I've warmed up to it over the past year) but it isn't good enough to start a show or be included int the encores - unless it's part of the slow/acoustic session.
  4. Matt…in YOUR opinion…whats the BEST Euro gig..I have been "out of the loop" for quite a while…sorry about that my friends…..but I'd like to announce to this group , that Im back big time.

To me (and Im sure Ronnie would agree) Milan looks insane…but so does Norway….as does Stockholm…....get ready for a mad amount of posts from me again regarding PJ….

OFF TOPIC : I really really love the new U2 lp..as you guys know , I'm a picky biatch with my bands..especially U2…Raised By Wolfs and Iris are absolute classics..as is EBW and Song For Someone…..…. I know..I know…Sergio is gonna kill me for this , this is the wrong thread…etc…LOL..but Id rather discuss this with my PJ brothers if possible…if not I apologize...…anyhow…Nick enjoy Det my friend…it will be a beast as always there….
  5. I'm listening to Milton Keynes as I type this message and watching the MLB games and it's quite good. This said, Milan is probably my early favourite but Vienna is also quite solid as is Stockholm (NINE songs from Ten!).
  6. In terms of new U2, I'm all over the first five songs. The next bunch are solid but I still haven't begun to fully appreciate them. I should start skipping Miracle through Iris if only to devote more time to the other six. They are good but they aren't sticking with me yet.

I will state that at this point that I'm not a huge fan of those high notes in the chorus of Volcano.
  7. All in all, I think I like the performances in the 2012 Euro tour better than the 2014 one. This opinion may change over time.
  8. Second half of the new u2 is miles better than the first.
  9. From what I've been reading, you certainly aren't alone on this one, Dylan.

To me, the first half is catchier and therefore has a bigger initial impact on a guy like me. As I alluded to earlier, it also might not help that I start listening to SOI at track 1 virtually every time.

I should start using the shuffle feature on my iPod.
  10. I'm hoping they play Rival on this probably final (?) leg of the LB tour along with a few yet-to-be-performed-Lost-Dogs. I'm getting anxious to do a FULL 2013-2014 LB tour Compilation. It has the potential to be 10 discs long!
  11. Even if the rumours are true about South America and Canada in 2015 (a la 2005 and 2011), would the shows still be considered to be part of the LB tour?

In comparison, the 360 tour went into a third calendar year but they really weren't playing much from NLOTH in 2011 so it was different in that respect.
  12. I hope they go to south America at same time as u2 so I can kill two birds with one stone
