1. Definitely, it will be the only song lasting beyond the initial listening phase. I wouldn't be surprised if it would be a live song as well.
  2. The song screams for an official video. I can picture it: set in the 70's, a teenager prepares for his first dance, where he will meet the chick he has a crushed on, his mom talking to him, choosing the suit with him. Then we are in the Crystal Ballroom, a nice choreography of the dance, then the kid looks for his mom and she's there, but she vanishes, she's no longer with him. The kid holds on to the girl thinking about his mom. Song ends, it's a massive hit and it becomes a live staple in the next tour. Then I wake up and I had to return to reality.
  3. I need to give this more proper listens - upon my first two, I'm not hearing the magic that seems to be felt by others here.

    To each his own, though.

I, like others, was glad to hear Stingray's riff used in Lucifer's Hands though!
  4. ^ Ooooh Stingray, I love that song. It reminds me in some ways of Yoshino Blossom.

And it was only the other day (although I'm sure most of you have picked this up) that the Glastonbury riff is part of Volcano. Nice to see that didn't go to waste (even if the lyrics were slightly cheesy).
  5. I'm loving what Stingray became. So cool.
  6. Just picked up my white vinyl. Looks very neat
  7. Crystal Ballroom.

That's why this second CD is worth it. Everything else is icing on the cake.

i was picturing a young U2 in their late teens playing on stage while people in the audience were dancing, then the U2 from Discotheque gate crash the dance and start their "boom-cha, boom-cha" hip thrusting
  9. This album sounds so good when it's turned up. Can't wait to hear the second disc.
