1. ^agree with Alex!
come on people, lighten up! It's a great package music-wise. Really interesting acoustic versions and great bonus songs (that shoud have been on disc1 in the first place, but hey, who cares, make your own compilation.

Cannot believe all the moaning, djeez...
  2. Invisible, Ordinary Love and the Lp all free plus with the addition of a leaked track or three via the interweb, you can burn your own cd with a preferred running order (hello Lucifer, Crystal Ballroom and Songs for Someone acoustic version, goodbye Miracle of Joey Ramone). No need to put your hand in your pocket until the tour starts. what's there to moan about?
  3. Sorry, but on this album isn't any much of music I can enjoy. The deluxe did not take any bit of the frustration down but extended it.

If I could, I would return it. But I can't.

Seems not every U2-fan can be pleased with this album, not even with one song.
  5. Normally I really enjoy acoustic sessions, but now, not sure. Despite the new great songs, I prefer disc 1 instead of 2
  6. not even one song? why on earth would someone buy the deluxe version if they didn't like the album when released on itunes? Clearly ridiculous with only themselves to blame.

I guess we all do. Not that blown-away by the acoustic sessions too. But hey, we got disc 1 for free and two new songs (with one splendid song) on a bonus disc with some nice alternative and acoustic versions. The bonus disc doesn't have to be a masterpiece, but it does offer enough bonus-material to enjoy for a few days (and years in the case of The Crystal Ballroom).
  8. The best part of the acoustic sessions is hearing Bono's voice (not multi tracked). Love the strings as well. Best performance of all the acoustic tracks is Raised By Wolves. Song For Someone was lacking the emotion that the original has.
  9. sorry for the double post

Agreed. I haven't checked out Raised by Wolves yet, but EBW piano is something else.
  11. EBW acoustic is so good...it should have been on the album because everyone just NEEDS to hear this great song
