    What's the point in that? Heartland is about a specific part of the United States as well, and I love it I detailed my reasons against this song on the 2nd listen, and I still stand by them:

    FWIW, I completely agree with Sergio. But I'm glad so many people like California all the same; hopefully non-fans will like it too.
  6. I think people like the song or they don't. I don't think visiting California makes a difference. I've been to Arizona, and Nevada, but never California. I love the song. I edited out the intro because as much as I like the Beach Boys, it just didn't fit for me, but it's my favorite song on the album so far, but the album as a whole is growing on me, I could always change my mind

  12. Certain songs just strike people different ways. I love the music on "Unknown Caller," I like some of the singing, but the "oh oh oh" "Shush now, reboot yourself" sounds like old corny men very cheesy..., So I am glad they cut it from the set most nights...the chorus sounds like Sting trying to be cool on some songs. But some on this site love the song...like I love California. Just different tastes.
