1. Wow, that's some bad singing from Bono wtf.

Watching the interview now, its funny So much better when they are together.
  2. The bit with Bono from 3:05 until about 3:30 reminds me of Zoo TV for some reason lol
  3. Good show, was kinda funny and laidback. Song for Someone was steady, The Miracle flat after the intro. Thought for a second that Edge's guitar was unplugged.

  4. I've closed the video but if you mean when he contrasts agains the screens I thought the same thing. The Fly part 2. Same moves
  5. Well, time to call it a night for me. Happy Friday night everyone
  6. Goodnight Sergio !

  7. The bit when he turned around to mine....
  8. i say drop this song for the promo shows and use Lucifer's Hands instead!!!
  9. Nah, play Acrobat and tell them it's a new song.
Non-fans will be like "my god they're good !".

  11. The overall show was nice, the interview was funny and relaxed, the approach to the iTunes stuff, also Graham mentioning the Artist icon on the iPhone being Bono is good stuff for the band. Bono's mention of glaucoma while sad, was also positive for the band, lots of people don't get why he wears them all the time. I also think that we'd heard about this before...I remember reading somewhere a few years ago that he wears the glasses because of an illness and to avoid intense lights like flashes or screens at the gig.
And yes, it seemed to me too that they were caught off guard when told to play SFS. Maybe they had other plans on when and where to play it, because I see Bono say something to Graham (can't really make out the words) about doing it some other way and Graham answers there is no time just do it here.

BTW - One of the fans I met yesterday said he had a friend involved in the show that told him the Jools Holland performance is going to be pre-recorded without an audience. I have no idea how they'll mix that with the rest of the show, but it does suggest that maybe they're not yet confident with playing the songs live and in front of an audience.
