  2. Just watched the Graham Norton Show from last night! When he told the crew to grab guitars, etc. Bono and Edge looked like they were about to have an anxiety attack lol. I think that was really good for them though to improv like that live. Hopefully it boosted their confidence in their songs and even in themselves.
  3. The footage of Miracle looks to be mostly from a closed door session. It just looks way way better than the usual production quality of the show and these is a serious lack of crowd shots.

    Fans outside after the show told me about U2 playing the miracle for them twice...so I guess they did

  6. Definitely own production crew or the BBC have seriously upped their game. It looks like it's from a live DVD. Looks great with that screen.

    It was played live not only once but twice for the audience who got tickets (you can see the audience plenty of times, and hear them clap). And this is what worries me: if they did two takes, they presumibly chose the best one... and it's still mediocre. I can't imagine how was the other one

    I'll concede that it was performed in front of the crowd but it's definitely a step up from normal. And let's remember that the band bought in their own production crew to film the Glastonbury broadcast.

    The song will rock when on tour.

    If you mean only the camera shots, I agree it's post-produced (not live) and probably supervised by the band - these are the advantages of filming today and broadcasting tomorrow. But you can see it's not their filming crew when Bono calls the cameraman closer and he doesn't do anything (his filming crew would have got closer to him). I know, small, stupid details lol

    Who tells the biggest band in the world (his own words) to do a song NOW when it's not discussed before...
  11. It was discussed before I'm sure. Maybe they didn't think it was going to be in that moment, but off the air and that's what surprised them.
