  3. I went out on Saturday night and heard the alternate version of The Troubles playing loud on somebody's car while walking down a street in Madrid. I freaked out I mean, in this day&age, what are the odds of someone to listen loudly, car windows down, to your favorite band, and not only that, but listening not to WOWY or SBS, but to a song from the deluxe version of their latest album??

    Nah, seriously, I was really surprised to hear it, and even more the alternate version. It's the only U2 thing I've heard in public since catching the final part of Ordinary Love at the supermarket somewhere around December or January.
  8. There was one time I heard the B-side version of No Line on The Horizon played at a shop near Santa Barbara. I was really confused because I don't recall that version ever being officially released.

  10. The Will IAM version. We got to hear that one first. I still give it a listen occasionally.

  12. Also my world got shattered today. I kept thinking that the lyrics in the alternative version were "Somebody stopped the world I know..." and that was really speaking to me lately but then discovered it's actually "Somebody stop the world I'm on..." Great.
