1. Live? Of what shows?

  2. Ghost Stories Live 2014 documents the band’s unique performance of the Ghost Stories album to a small handful of fans in March 2014, two months prior to the album’s release. Shot in a custom-built amphitheatre at Sony Studios, Los Angeles, the ground-breaking production sets the band’s performance against stunning 360-degree and overhead imagery.

The release also contains an exclusive Ghost Stories live album, with audio recorded at the band’s rapturously-received shows in London, Sydney, Paris, Cologne, New York and Los Angeles between April and July 2014.
  3. Basically, Coldplay performed a bunch of really small shows, so I guess that's what they're going to be using... It's really bizarre actually because those gigs are what I would consider to be the promo tour for Ghost Stories.

I might get the digital/itunes release of the CD when it comes out because Coldplay doesn't usually release a lot of live material. Also, I really like this album, probably their best, imo.
  4. Yes, it is a very good album. Some truly great songs.
  5. They didn't want to tour this one in depth because they knew they would be putting out this DVD anyway... and apparently their next album is already on the way for early next year.

    Wait what.
  7. On Monday 8 December, Radio 2 welcomes Coldplay to the BBC Radio Theatre.

Usually Coldplay perform to hundreds of thousands of fans in stadia all over the world. This is a rare chance to see them performing close-up to an audience of just a few hundred people.

The concert will be broadcast on Radio 2, online and on the BBC Red Button. Find out how to listen, watch and join in with this intimate concert from one of the world's biggest acts.

Radio 2 In Concert with Coldplay airs from 2000-2200 on Monday 8 December.

The band will be talking to Jo Whiley and performing a mixture of songs from their current album Ghost Stories along with classic hits from throughout their career.

Watch live online at bbc.co.uk/radio2 and on BBC Red Button television. Just press red from any BBC channel, and follow the on-screen instructions to the live show.

And of course you can hear the whole show on Radio 2 on FM and Digital Radio.
  8. Ghost Stories is thier worst album. Wallpaper music. Fell asleep during listening.
    Songs live better????
  9. Ghost Stories is their best album to date, what are you talking about.

Also, their Ghost Stories Live 2014 album is very good (haven't seen the concert film associated with it yet). Whoever does the recording and mixing for Coldplay's live CDs (at least for 2014 and 2012) is a genius. Those two have been the best live albums I've heard in a while. Even U22 and Edge's Picks had some mixing that I wasn't too big on.

  10. hahaha, that was really good You should apply for a comedian seat on a late night TV program or something!!

    Agree 100%…Ghost Stories is brilliant...
  12. Ghost Stories has O, Magic, Oceans and Another's Arms so it's already better than the last three Coldplay albums.
