1. Not sure if Bruce fanboys, or actually tone deaf. Say what you will about Chris Martin, but at least he was "singing", not shouting sounding like he was in pain.

Like you didn't knew this before he sang with u2 yesterday

Bruce always gets its from his toes, wether you like the sound of it or not, its genuine at least.

Both probably But with Bruce you know he isn't the best singer in the world but he is just pure, himself and no one else.
Chris Martin did a good job too, especially on BD but that ain't strange since Coldplay has been covering BD the last 10 years on each album at least 3 times
But seriously, they both did it pretty good, but U2 without Bono isn't 10% as good as U2 with Bono.

  5. Interesting!!

It will fit on the New TOUR [All rumours / news here] thread, I will post it there
  6. agree regarding the concert last night; Chris Martin sounds like a boy and Bruce both sounds and looks like Sylvester Stallone.

also, the boys played pretty rusty.

not their best performance by far.

i had to stop watching midway WOWY, too painful, realizing U2 were butchering their own songs.

sounded like a Chilean cover band.....

Still not really sure how him being himself is a defense for poor vocals, but maybe I'm being a stickler.

It'd be different if it was like a punk band covering U2 and did it their own way featuring off-key punk vocals, but this was U2 playing their song like they always do and Bruce struggling to find the melody on top of it. Maybe it's because I have no feeling of "awe" towards him, but all I saw was my boys playing with an awful old dude singing for them

    yes, that was very cool.

You're right, like I said he isn't the best singer in the world and I can remember the first time I heard Bruce's bit in ''We Are The World'' I thought who is that man singing in pain and why is he doing this if it hurts him so much haha?
So I totally understand you But I don't know, I thought it sounded pretty good.
  10. No idea why, but I've just imagined Bruce singing Lemon...
