1. Yes. And I'm not lying.

We should just probably remember they're working on it and will try to put it out as soon as possible...
I can imagine they sometimes change things or throw songs away so they go from 70% to 50 and back to 70.
  2. And I haven't seen the pic for SOE before. Would be a good idea imo.
  3. And we have a song name and some lyrics of Songs of Experience.

Song title: The Morning After Innocence

    Chorus:
I'm running out of chance to blow
That's what you told me and you should know
Lead me in the way I should go
Unravel the mystery of the heart and its defense
    The morning after innocence

Wow! We might actually get a quick follow up this time for real!!
  5. Bono also says: "The idea in theory is to have the indoor tour jump outdoors when the companion album comes out".

    Which will mean that:
    * SoE will be released end 2015/begin 2016
    * There WILL BE an outdoor part of the tour
  6. That's great news indeed. I'm not surprised: the name of the tour already gave a big hint. But it is awesome news nonetheless. I think (if we're lucky) SoE will be out in March/April 2016 or so, with a Summer stadium tour to follow. If we're very lucky, it might be out sooner, e.g. December 2015. But U2 would need to work on it while on tour... mmm. Or wrap it up now, with Bono KO. re-mmm.
  7. I think that the real big U2 album is going to be SOE and the purpose of SOI was to grab the headlines again, put U2 back in the news and hopefully win a few new fans. U2 are very tactical and know how to market themselves. That SOI is not supposed to be the big one is evident from the fact that Neil McCormack only gave it 4 stars rather than the usual 5.
  8. Nice.
  9. Ehrmm... Yeah, it's a very logical fact.

Solid plan. I'd be curious to see how they approach an outdoor tour now. After 360, I can't look at outdoor stage setups the same way anymore.
  11. Interesting connection here.

    Who remembers this?

All That, the magnet for seven GRAMMY awards, including back-to-back wins for Record of the Year, is a hard act to follow. How is the next U2 album shaping up?

I just came from the studio today, and it's ridiculous what's going on. Edge is just on fire; he's making the most extraordinary things come out of his guitar. It's astonishing. We came up with a tune today called "Lead Me In The Way I Should Go," which could be a big song. Another one, provisionally titled "Full Metal Jacket," is pure chrome. I'm very excited about what we're doing, and I don't think we're facing that difficult second album syndrome.
  12. As soon as I read it, I knew we'd seen that line somewhere before. I didn't think it stretched that far back though.
