1. I feel sorry for you Dylan, but... What about waiting and getting it from a fan that cannot make it eventually? It's not like U2 is playing a 200 people private club; they're playing 20.000 people arenas. There will always be the odd guy who bought one for his girlfriend and they break up or whatever, you get the point... that guy might opt to be an asshole and try to sell it at x2 its price, or just be a good guy and sell it at face value – usually even at the venue the proper day of the show.
  2. Cause the GA tickets are CC only and non transferable unless through the official TM site, and when I'm forking out five digits to do this trip I'm not leaving it to chance
  3. Yeah, i remember during my last GA experience several tickets exchanged hands right outside of Angel Stadium. This won't be the case with GA being CC only.

I understand you now. What I don't understand is how the fuck can Ticketmaster fight against scalping if THEY THEMSELVES offer a "name your price" secondary market for spare tickets. Of course, the tickets are guaranteed to be authentic, but what about screwing true fans who missed out on tickets? Ticketbastard strikes again.
  5. Yeah that's my issue. I don't know why they don't just use a resale function like every major festival I know where it goes back into the sale and can only be purchased through their site for the face value (maybe plus a fee for the service). It's basically ticketmaster making scalping legal with their new resale system

hats the fact, they will buy ... and feed scalpers to do so in the future. so do not buy these tickets and in the future all these people will be gone (and they will lower prices near the shows to get ridd of the tix).

to all the people who did not get any tickets. I have bought serveral times tickets just close to the shows. people will get ill, new jobs what ever and want to get ridd of their tickets. so go, get an ebay allert ... and you will get in!
