1. Guys thanks for posting about Pop's birthday the other day. I saw it on Twitter when I woke up and decided to give the album a spin. Since then I have been so into it again.

I'm seeing the band in July and now my bucket list setlist has to include some Pop love. They brought back HMTMKMKM last tour and that was the first song by U2 I loved and I never thought I'd hear it live. Staring At The Sun is the second U2 song I loved so it would be nice to hear that but anything from Pop really.

Also, I came across this on YouTube:
  2. I'd shit if they played Last Night on Earth.
  3. I'd love for Gone to be played, Mofo, Staring at the Sun or If you wear that Velvet dress.
  4. Mofo , IGWSHA, Discoteque ( Vertigo tour style) and Playboy mansion for me
  5. nice how people are hooked by Pop again
  6. Wow, check this out:

    The sound is really good.
  7. Bit odd but I selected by funeral songs years ago... In my life by The Beatles and gone... Album version.

I love the last I'll be up with the sun bit...

Love the era, some great music, great tour, great times.

In My Life is one of my funeral choices as well Gone would be tough but undeniably appropiate
  9. What about Wake Up Dead Man?

Seriously, though, as a sort of modern-day lament song (I think of Psalm 44:23-26) it would be appropriate for a funeral - as a cry for Jesus to complete his victory over death, for the resurrection of the body, and for this "fucked up world" to be fully renewed.
  10. I don't care if it has nothing to do with death, but they're better put Please (single version) in my funeral, or I come back and haunt their asses ->
  11. No, always liked the soaring guitar of gone in the chorus... That's why I never liked the Best Of version.

Thinking about it, a lot of the album could be Funeral appropriate...

    last night on earth
    Staring at the sun
    Please
    Gone
    Wake up dead man
    If god will send

Maybe, even Playboy mansion, who knows what's up there
