    The last U2gigs article says that a small string section left the arena today, so looks like that is something thats gonna happen.

  3. Most of the Pop remixes amounted to nothing more than a patch job. It sucks to say it, but they really should have worked to get it right the first time.

    Agree...worst thing on that disc was the remix of Numb though...
  5. to me pop is perfect the way it is, no adjustments needed.

I like how it simultaneously has a shiny exterior (the album artwork, the dance-influenced arrangements, PopMart) as well as a dark interior (the lyrical wrestling with God, the "unfinished," rough around the edges sound of some of the songs, PopMart again...). I feel as if the very fact that the album wasn't completed to the band's liking actually contributes to its sound of "starting at a party and ending at a funeral" or "wanting to make an album about a party but coming in at the after-party" as the band has described it before.

    Anyway...I'm hoping for at least one Pop song to make an appearance. Even if that previous setlist picture was fake, it'd be nice to hear something like "Gone" regularly again. I still keep thinking about Raised by Wolves --> Please, though...

    It is what it is, but perfect isn't the word I'm going to use for it.

    Yeah they ignored Pop for so long now during all their previous tours, it's time to do with Pop what they did with the early stuff. Revive it.
  12. I agree with a Pop-comeback.
    But I doubt if it fits with the SOI-tracks... Pop isn't that innocent.
    Bring it back when they enter stadiums !
