  1. But that opens up the age old question: What is worse...complaining, or complaining about someone who is complaining? I like to do both, but it does kind of bite the hand that is feeding...in some sort of bizarre hypocrisy that makes us ponder the universe, and if Wild Honey is really that terrible a song, and if Pop is really a masterpiece like I think it is, or the hangover Bono called it?

    Absolutely, no rotation whatsoever. On top of that,what a lame first half of the show, zoo station, the fly, one... having sooo much music why are they just playing the new weird stuff ... I mean, Until The End Of The World is ok, but everything else? Instead of One they should be playing The Unforgettable Fire or Promenade, Gloria instead of Even Better or Mysterious Ways... ugh.

    Thank god there was no internet back then...

    The problem isn't wanting oldies to replace the new songs, I think the biggest problem is hearing (tired renditions of) Beautiful Day or With or Without You for the umpteenth time. No don't put Gloria, or A Day Without Me instead of The Miracle, but put Gloria or A Day Without Me instead of Beautiful Day.

    For some fans (I'd even include myself in here), yes, that's the problem. I've said it before, my only problem with that position is when fans assume the band HAVE to do it instead of just wishing that it would be good if they do it.

    But on the other hand, I've seen (not necessarily in U2start) many many many "die-hards" that totally love 80s and 90s U2 but can't care less about millenial U2 and just keep on wishing on the band releasing a new Achtung or Pop or Passengers (and consequently becoming upset when they don't). That's where my post was aimed at.

    They may aswell edit it and broadcast it next week.

    Yeah I didn't say "live broadcast"... They can do it in 2017 for what is worth, as long as they do it!!!!!! Broadcasts are always the best sounding boots out there!

    Agree... At this point it is totally unclear what exactly the idea of the show is and what will eventually happen. A gig a la Oberhausen, Germany, or a "Club-show" like Irving Plaza. The first might be broadcasted, the second most likely not.

    Best hope still is to have a taper in the house

    Sil wil be there so count on a livestream at minimum.
