  1. So I guess 4 spots are being rotated. Nothing more ...greatly disappointing. And it all comes down to them not wanting to upset casual fans by drastically changing the set. Shame. i was looking forward to the LA shows because it's the first stop with more than 2 shows. I really thought they'd take more risk. I'll definitely be unloading some of my NY tickets. It's even worse to know that they were so close to rotating more songs and kinda chickened out at the end. All my ranting aside, I'm still greatly looking forward to the concerts and I'm so happy that they're touring. SOI is my favorite album from the boys since Pop and they sound fantastic. I still can't believe how great Bono sounds. I'm just not gonna waste my time with the same set multiple times.
  2. To me it's still better than if every second show would be acoustic. They didn't have enough of time to develop two different nights in terms of setlist and production... I think they skipped that idea because of Bono's injuries. I'm glad they are able to tour and bring such an amazing show

    to be fair, I was also hoping they'd make way more drastic changes, but then again I kinda knew that was highly unlikely, so I'm okay with the way it is now and think they've done some cool changes so far. cut them some slack
  5. i wasn't too crazy about the troubles until the end when it was just the band jamming. lots of pre-recorded vocals and string arrangements, to my ears.

    I hear ya! I don't wanna bring negativity to this thread. Again I'm loving everything I'm seeing. And I'm not begging fir obscure songs just 6-8 songs rotated per night. Even simple ones like NYD for IWF. The Fly for MW. UV for Invisible... Etc. They have sooooo many great songs that they don't even need to dig too deep.

  9. Wow, I tried to stay awake to listen to the stream, but I fell asleep around SFS and wish I hadn't. Best show yet I say.

    Sounded great, just like Volcano and even Ordinary Love sounded good

    i was also thinking that the part where god knows it not easy it sounds like she is singing that part aswell, on the album she is not

  12. Where did you get the "4" number? there's already 6 rotational spots in the set lists...

    kinda wish granted, right?

    In the first half there's only 1 spot (OOC/TEC/CAL), but in the second half:

    2 rotational songs between MW and EBW (Des+TST/AOH+WLCTT/Ele+SIAM/Vol+OL)

    1 rotational song between BD and WOWY (Troubles/Bad/AIWIY)

    1 spot before Streets (COBL/MD)

    1 spot to close the show (ISHF/One/40)

    That's 6 total. I wouldn't discount MD yet, we even got the Troubles back. But even then that's 5, not 4... I think it's a fair number.
