It just comes off as very negative.
It's like people have a sense of entitlement. The band can do what they want.

The point about the recent tragedies and still committing to tour dates was a really good one.
  2. I love the tactic of moaning about setlists but still buying tickets to shows.

May I suggest we move to the general tour topic. No point in hating on LA over the general setlists.

I will agree that it sounded better on Jools.

It seems like they really are into these new songs hey? Maybe the whole album will be performed! Either way I'm impressed.

    Reach Me Now though....come on!

that's why I wanna wait until I can listen to a proper bootleg before I form an opinion on that song's performance. it's such a cool song and, like you said, the jools holland performance was quite promising... I really want it to explode during a concert maybe it would work even better on the I-stage... but yeah, still waiting on that bootleg first

Just finished watching the 3 surprises of yesterday and you're right (here's hoping a good bootleg proves us wrong) about Volcano. I was totally blown away by The Troubles, though. Much better than in Vancouver. Chills with Edge's solo (is it blasphemy to say it reminded me of Love Is Blindness?). This gives me hope that Volcano will just keep getting better.

I'm all over the band standing behind their new material. It does not make sense to have an album that takes 4 or 5 years to make only to ditch the songs a few shows into the tour.

    1) I'm keeping all my tickets even if they start playing the same set every night.

    2) This is a message board for U2 fans to discuss their varied opinions. I've been following this band for 31 years and if I have an opinion by fuck I'll state it !!

    And? Only positive allowed?
  9. It's like you expect to have some reward for buying to many tickets or a "I'm a bugger fan badge".
