  1. Alright, we can agree that neither "bitching" or telling the other to shut up leads nowhere. We can also agree that we all love U2 and different opinions won't make us any less fans. Let's just agree to disagree on this one.
  2. Yes it does cause you can't beat a good rant among friends !!
  3. Are u kidding me? Who said that? What r u talking about. I've never stated I was s bigger fan than anyone. I just came on the board I've been on for years now and stated how I felt. Your coming off like a dickhead. Reward for buying multiple tickets ? Haha. Simply stating my opinion. Same way your doing now. Only you're coming off like a dick.
  4. All this for simply saying my opinion about setlist variation. Holy shit. I have people calling me entitled? And saying I think I'm a bigger fan? Wow. What a joke.
  5. @MofoNYR:
Look, sorry that this escalated this far. It wasn't my intention.
I had just 2 problems with what you've said, and none of those is that you said something negative about the shows/tour/band/whatever.

    1. You said they only have rotation in 4 spots but 6 would be good enough...
-And I've already showed you that they're already rotating 6 spots. Yet now you still find that as minimal to nonexistent.

    2. You said that the lead up to the tour announced different shows for every night.
That's also false. It was only for night 1 and night 2. If you want to judge them on the promotion, then don't include the aditional nights, because that's misleading.

If you think that 6 songs is not enough in rotation, fine, go ahead. I have no problem with that.
  6. They rehearsed 48 songs and played 36 in LA. Is this good or bad?
  7. I don't care what songs they play, yes I'd rather hear 26 pearls then 26 times the same old With or without You. But I will enjoy every second of the show(s)!

We were having a fair debate. No harm. Thanks for your post though and I understand your points. The other dude comes on hear shooting off his mouth and that's not right. You don't attack someone for having a diff opinion. Especially on this board where everyone is usually very fair and polite with each other. I didn't expect that here tbh.
  9. The only people I apologize to is anyone coming to this thread expecting to read about the LA shows and having to read through this nonsense (or entertainment depending on your view).

spot on. Might be because it was not a perfect spot for the song? myself I'm thinking it could be played in the place of Vertigo (or in that slot), and not on the e-stage, as things seem to slow down there a bit.

This song would work perfectly early in set one. Maybe rotating with vertigo? The jools performance is what actually made this song click with me. It was great performance. Maybe it also has to do with Larry kit on the b stage? I notice there's no bass drum unless I'm missing something..

I can't speak for Kris, but I sometimes get tired of reading people absurdly and constantly complaining (not really on this forum, though) and then I snap at the next person who does it, although I usually refrain from grabbing the keyboard when that happens.
