  1. A friend of mine told me that he's not sure if he's ever heard a U2 song before and asked me for a recommendation, I showed him Lemon from Sydney and Mofo and Discotheque from Mexico City

    Maybe not the most accessible introduction?
  2. mmm maybe give him the greatest hits of 80-90 ..it s hard to believe that he didn t heard any u2 song ever ...sure he had heard some but he didn t know that is U2

    Definitely not the most common or accessible introduction, but a great one


    I think the Slane DVD is the greatest introduction to our band someone could have even if it contains a lot of AYTCLB songs

  8. Sydney is the climax of their live story no doubt, but the whole Zoo TV concept might be strange or even pretentious to someone who doesn't know much about it. Slane is more straightforward

  10. Slane is a pretty good idea. I was trying to think of single songs but the collection of songs on Slane's setlist work a lot better in showing a bit of the variety U2 has to offer plus the live experience.

    And yes I'm sure he has had to have heard some songs and just not realized who it was.
