Same goes for movies or even football matches for me.
You paid to be there, you got the trouble of getting there, enjoy the whole fricking experience!
right on point there amen to that!!
  2. does anybody think sleep like a baby, this is where you can reach me now are out of the question? i dont mind these songs but sleep would be a hard live song i would think?
  3. 'Sleep' wouldn't be a hard song. Same tempo as 'Love Is Blindness'.
  4. i guess, but how would the first 1 mintue of the song be performed piano?
  5. anybody expect anything different from Chicago shows ?
  6. They've had some time to rehearse..wouldn't be surprised if they pulled something new out.

Maybe the people who left during Ordinary Love hate the song as much as people hate on Stuck here (I definitely don't hate the song)...I do agree though...way to miss out on Volcano...terrible mistake.

I only understand people getting beer in GA because there are beer vendors on the floor itself, so you can still be quite close to the action while filling up. When you have seats, you have to leave the main area to get beer (at least at the Forum).

I did make a mistake regarding the order of Volcano and Ordinary Love. Basically, the row in front of me missed both songs at LA 5 to get beers.
  8. Also, today I found myself listening to the U22 recording of EBTTRT and I couldn't help but notice the huge difference in energy between the two settings in which I experienced that song (360 vs. IE). The two versions sound identical, obviously. But the different settings in which they are performed are as distinct as night and day. I remember Angel Stadium going completely nuts when they kicked off the show with this song. The atmosphere was insane and you could feel the energy filling up the entire stadium. The IE performances have felt a bit constrained by the fact that the band are located inside of the screen. It doesn't feel like that all-out party from 360.

I think it just goes to show how your stage setup can make a huge difference.
  9. Yeah, also, one is to open the show, the other comes in the middle of the show after playing a not-so-well-known song.

Compared to that, imho, UTEOTW never has sounded more powerful than in this tour, not that it was weak before obviously, but the whole building up to it makes it even greater.

  10. This. I'd like to see it rotated into Invisible's spot. Same sort of start as Invisible, inside the screen, which is briefly opaque. Casuals with no idea that's actually a U2 Song, & is being performed live. Then the band is shown to the audience (more clearly than in Invisible, & with much more interesting graphics). Maybe the screen raises, so we can get those MW mirror balls happening. Great way to start the second set.

You must have not seen a good Elevation show because every version from Elevation's first leg are way more powerful than any on the i+e tour.
