    the next step for me was: Would I be able to listen to them again KNOWING that they're playing those tricks, feeling disappointed about it, and still enjoy them as much as I did before? or would it be easier/better to just give them a pass and let them do it their way and ignore it?

    Like I said, I always wonder what are they actually playing and what is a backing track, but I don't do it feeling disappointed, now I'm just being curious.
