Tour: Innocence and Experience tour
Songs played: 27
Audio recordings: 1
  1. take this leg and compare to the first 30 shows of vertigo....this leg could have destroyed, had many opportunities to, but has not. Now this sets up the rest of the tour, they don't have far to go to exceed expectations, but anything short of exceeding can be easily be considered safe and just continue the echo of "coulda been". its up to the band, play it safe or get hungry and look for the next place, the next level of performance...the songs are there, the players are there, the setting is here. Will they take the stage or just perform on it? Can't wait

Right because muffin makes a lot more sense than cookie....

    smh
  3. u2gigs have gotten ridiculous with the snippet coverage.

It didn't replace it, Edge just decided not to play Crystal Ballroom because his legion of guitars wouldn't let him. If you believe that.

Vertigo LA1, and I didn't get to see the at all on Elevation, I believe they broke out zoo baby on screen into zoo station, the fly and mways, lost my shit. first show was zoo, everyone went ballistic ...why has the band never revisited second side of JT or JT tour run of songs since...unfortunately disappointing.
Only the desert states usually get 'In God' Country'. Miami on the Elevation tour was a booboo.
  6. Sometimes U2gigs let me confuse... on several bootlegs Bono just say some words from some songs and they counts like snippets...

About songs played too... on Tonight Show, they broadcasted Invisible, and play several takes before, to chose 1, and all of that takes counts like performances.... is the same case in The Wanderer, they played multiple takes to chose only 1 for broadcast, and counts like just 1 time played
  7. Do your research. Then come back and apologize to me.
  8. No need. Your research is flawed.

The claw cost 250,000 per night to run for concerts. They broke even just on ticket sales at the end of 2009.

250,000 to run per night. You are not including transportation nor are you counting set up/tear down. You are also not including the massive amount of money spent on carbon credits U2 purchased to offset the carbon footprint of employing over 16 semitrucks to move the structure around.

Plus, you shouldn't use U2 as the standard because the are not the standard. They are the exception. Hence why I mentioned them as an organization that has successfully adapted to the changes. 360 was profitable because of two main factors. The first being the design which allowed more GA than would otherwise be allowed and the second being the lower tiered pricing allowing ensuring more shows at max capacity.
  10. I went to 21 shows. I definitely have an idea sir.

What cost U2 a lot was having to reschedule the 2010 shows and store the claws out in the desert until Bono was fit enough to return to performing duties.
