1. Better at nosebleeds or better in GA? There's an argument to be made that the GA sound during 360 is better than what it is now, but based on my experience having done GA for both tours, the differences are mainly attributed to the different venue types.

I was in nosebleed-ish the first night and 24 rows back the next.

In 360 I was pretty far back the first time and pretty close (but still seats) the second. I think the two 360 shows sounded better.

A buddy of mine had GA N1 NY and seats N2

Said the higher up you were at MSG, the better the sound. He also noticed the sound booth was in the upper level as opposed to on the floor, so this may have something to do with difference in sound between tours... That and the fact that speakers are elevated and run the length of the arena this time around... Just my pretzel logic!
  4. According to Chris Stolpmann, who works with Willie Williams, U2 will tour well into 2017.

  5. When U2 asked Frost for tour art that reflected a "neural net of humanity," he went to CERN's Large Hadron Collider to capture timelapse footage and otherwise treat the particle smasher as a creative tool. As you can see above, the result is dazzling -- it looks like the internet made manifest in a painting.

The Big Picture: U2's tour art takes a page from particle physics
  6. HBO announced documentary of tour broadcast is Nov 7 and full Paris show broadcast nov 14!!! Yes I'm excited !!
  7. “U2 continues to take risks, which has made them one of the most consistently exciting forces in rock’n’roll,” HBO president Michael Lombardo said

Man... This dude opened a can of worms in this forum.
  8. Think people will be pissed at HBO for forcing U2 on them?
  9. Where did you see this? Trying to convince a doubter...

Well that kind of reassures (in a way) that the Paris shows are the ones that will be filmed and released. Nice
