  1. Can anyone also enlighten me on the DC Lady booing? What happened with that?
  2. She kind of told-off Newyorkians because nobody helped Bono while she is from DC and helped him - clearly implying that DCians (what's the word?) are more helpful than Newyorkians. Wrong wrong wrong.

    Yeah...that'll get you booed.

I will see Amsterdam 3 and 4 and I don't give a damn if I get the exact same set both nights because they will be different experiences in different locations, but if I were going to all 4 nights I would be pissed to have spent >1000€ in tickets plus accomodation to see the same (or 90% same) show every night. So I feel terribly sorry for those making it to NYC from Australia, UK, Spain, Brazil, Japan or Germany. Terribly sorry.
I understand that. But I also understand logistically, when they book the tours they are looking at that specific region/city as a majority thing. The majority of the crowd is only going one night, maybe two... Thats the catch 22 of it all.

Good news is, if the rumors are right and they do plan on touring into 2017, they will almost have to revamp & reinvent along the way...

  5. Best version of Pride IMO last night. Crowd was insane.
  6. Am I really asking fur too much when I say I want Cali , CB, Bad and 40 tonight? I mean cmon. I'm not asking for Heartland and Acrobat.

No, absolutely not. It's unreal that all of them (and Volcano) were played during Chicago and Boston but not during this NYC run, in which we had all our setlist hopes. I'm still waiting for night 8 until final judgement but it's really really weird. Maybe playing the Garden x8 has intimidated them setlist-wise?

I think it'll be insane,or awful. Like Desire/Angel of Harlem with Out Of Control in spot 2, or like Crystal Ballroom/Discotheque with 11 O Clock Tick Tock in slot 2 hahaha. EIther way, 40 WILL close the show.
  9. So sad that "weepy" songs like Iris and SFS are regulars in the set but chill/rocking songs like Volcano and California are rarities
  10. And I don't know the reaction here from satellite of love , but a cover they played 22 years ago isn't what the die hards were looking for that's for sure. All in all though it was a great show. Bullet and Pride were some of the best versions so far, solid 1st half besides a shaky RBW....Streets set the place off. GA looked nuts last night. After Bono said something to edge and I got really excited I thought Bad? 40? , but it turned out to just be him calling fir One instead of Still Haven't. He's done that twice now so I guess there goes that rotational spot. And so long Miracle Drug! Not that I care too much about MD but one night wouldn't have hurt.

It would have been nice for them to at least run through all the other songs they've played recently before then going back and repeating those others.. But again, it all goes back to the rule with U2. Expect nothing great.

Reviewing all the setlists in NY, I feel very lucky wiith my single night #2 ; Gloria, October, Bad, Volcano.
I can still feel those first Gloria drumbeats from Larry

Okay I had no Jimmy Fallon, Lady Gaga or Paul Simon, but I am totally okay with that

I really hope for all of you doing multiple shows in NY, that they do something special tonight.
