1. is anyone else totally obsessed with the website for U2 3D? i love the audio of One and With Or Without You in the beginning before u press anything One especially! yes they are small clips but they get me excited!!!

"Is it too late, TONIGHT, to drag the past out into the light"

    love how he sings it

and Miss Sarajevo and Love and Peace sound amazing too !
  2. this movie will have the best versions of all the songs it seems
  3. I would just like to make a humorous observation.

A week after the limited IMAX release of U2 3D, another 3D concert film will be released in America for a one week engagement only. Yep, it's for Hannah Montana.

Now, I'm not a fan of hers, that's not the point of this post. What humors me is how the theater where I'll be seeing U2 3D (on the first day, mind you!) will be showing U2 and Hannah Montana 3D concerts on a double bill. It's idiosyncratic to me to have these two concerts right next to one another, one for mostly marketing a most likely talented tween idol for her fans vs. the other which is four very talented men aiming to connect even more with their audience as well as push the boundaries of cinema and blow people's minds.

    And that makes me amused.

(With apologizes to Hannah Montana and her fans.)

They do sound good...I must say that Bono sounds very good during One, which is weird!

Is it clear that how long the movie will stay?

That's hilarious. I'm kind of apprehensive now. We'll have to shove through throngs of screaming tweens. Good lord.
I really hope U2 fans will turn out for the movie. To see lines out the door for Hannah Montana is annoying by itself, never mind in comparison with a line for U2 3D.

15 songs and the full film runs for 92 minutes exactly.

You'll see scenes from Buenos Aires, Mexico, Sao Paulo, Santiago and Monterrey as well as pick-up scenes (as Olivier Wicki puts it in the interview) from Sydney and Melbourne. Now remember, the audio sounds so much better because if you listened to the Zoo Station from Buenos Aires on the official single you'd compare that back to the bootleg DVD - and notice the enhancements on the voice.
