2015-10-05 - Barcelona
Tour: Innocence and Experience tour
Songs played: 27
Audio recordings: 3
  1. Just watched volcano from last night, superb. Well into in, Bono in the crowd. This is how it should be and leave angel and desire out completely.

  2. Same here, I was very happy to be at Amsterdam 4 but miss out on almost all other fourth nights. Come on U2, bring on these great songs and Bad at other nights too

    They will be back soon
  4. When you listen to Bad closing a concert then listen Still Haven't Foud closing a concert, I actually feel terrible for the people who didn't get bad!

The difference in song, power, atmosphere and euphoria to round off a gig is remarkable. Bad makes people leave absolutely buzzing, Still just does not do this.

    Enjoy tonight anybody going!
  5. they should play Volcano a lot more often <3 4th night looks good on paper, I hope they won't chicken out with Spanish Eyes... plus Gloria, another interesting e-stage song, Bad, 40 4th nights are just best even when they play boring e-stage songs (Angel, Desire) because closing with Bad/40 is just so much better than One or ISHFWILF, probably more important than the variety in the middle... Am I the only one who thinks that US shows had more "variety"? The Troubles, California, Lucifer's Hands, The Crystal Ballroom... I know, there are many shows left but It seems like U2 are in autopilot mode - even the "e-stage pairs" are more predictable than during the 1st leg

The last two times Volcano was on the setlist (Berlin 1, Barcelona 1) they replaced it last minute so glad they did it tonight.

Yep, they are on full autopilot this leg. Our setlist prediction game is pretty easy to win this time around..
  7. i think one of the worst concert of the tour ,they were in a hurry for the party with Ali and Penelope. Only two encores, only Volcano as surprise.......the last two in Barca will be better for sure.
  8. full autopikot you are right Remy and yesterday night The Edge was not on fire ana made some misttakes

That I didn't say. I think Barca 3 was an amazing show, by the sounds of it. Volcano was incredible. But the setlists are a bit on autopilot yes.

There is only one left in Barcelona
  10. I always like it when the band members make mistakes. To me that makes a good show as that shows some sponteanous moments as well. When everything is done by the book, that is when it feels that the band is doing things on auto pilot!

The US shows had always more variety, if you compare the setlists from the elevation and vertigo tour than it becomes pretty clear that we are fucked up in europe with the same set every night...
I would love to see The Toubles in a fixed spot every night, Lucifer's Hands and Crystall Ballroom more at the E-stage (instead of NYD or Elavation).
I also think that the 2nd and 4th song should rotate, so no I Will Follow every night but Gloria, Two Hearts, Electric co, Out of Control and I Will Follow in these spots.
