Yes the U2 coverband L.A.Vation did use it on their webpage too...
  2. As an avid concertgoer, things like this make me wonder what could happen at any goven concert. Also there's no need for big, arena/stadium-like crowds... Just a few hundreds like last night. I guess the Eagles will be glad for the first time in their lives that the show wasn't a sell-out Also, the attack begun when the band were playing Kiss The Devil. Whether it was planned like that or it happened by chance will remain unknown, but that song is now marked black forever...

The show last night was sold-out.

I'm going to concerts even night until next Thursday, and that has crossed my mind.

I read somewhere that the venue was only around 50-60% full. That concert hall holds around 1500 people when sold-out so then it's a little miracle that around 1400 made it safely out......
  5. Unbelievable events yesterday. Something happened to me yesterday before the events that is not coincidence. I meet an 87 year "young" woman named Grace. I tell her "Grace is getting a gift you did not deserve." She then tells me her dad was in the Navy. She was in Hawaii on December 7, 1941. The Japanese planes awoke her from sleep flying over her house. On 9/11/2001, she is driving in Virginia where she lived at the time to a Bridge tournament, past the north side of the Pentagon and sees the fireball as the plane strikes the south side of the building.

I share with her a wise person taught me that the worst things in this world are justified by belief. Little did I realize that all these things would happen in Paris with our life band in the midst of it all. Make no mistake, Grace finds beauty, even in ugly things. I know that U2 will help us all heal after these devastating events.

This cannot simply be explained by coincidence. This is a message.
  6. this whole thing remembered to watch this video and this is so emotional... so beautiful
  7. And now Foo Fighters have cancelled the rest of their tour.

"It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour. In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can't continue right now. There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one."

Just seen that...I mean I think this is going overboard and just bowing down to what terrorists want
  9. In fairness, Foo Fighters were playing two dates in France. I can understand that.
  10. Thinking of U2's dates it might even be they will come back with 4 new dates in Paris later. I mean they also need another test run etc.
  11. And that's the remaining part of their tour? Then yeah.

But cancelling more shows feels like a bit too much indeed.
