1. Actual copies arrived (to critics/media, I presume):

  2. That cover will always tilt me.
  3. I think the whole "lightbulb being sort of like how our early club gigs were lit" thing would've been way cooler if it was like the ONLY light on for the first song or two.
  4. They tried at rehearsal. And then it just didn't work.

The light bulb gimmick probably sounded great in the initial planning talks but just never quite worked.
  5. I liked the e-stage lightbulb used for Song For Someone, they should've incorporated that into the show.
  6. I think the light bulb served its purpose well. When the venue was filling, seeing that single bulb hanging above the stage was a point of interest that drew my curiosity. The first few songs, while not featuring the bulb prominently, definitely had a simplified vibe. I also liked how the light bulb was incorporated into the visuals for the first half of the show, especially its use in UTEOTW.
  7. After watching the DVD-previews (I Will Follow and that clip of "Beautiful Day") I consider cancelling my order.
I was really looking forward to this, as I think that last Paris show was really, really good (and, from what I saw on Youtube, well filmed) and the shows we've been to have all been great, among the best I've ever seen.

But the editing (a cut nearly every second) gives me a headache, literally. Can't stand it.
  8. I'm really in no urgent need of this when I think about it. I might just wait until I can pick it up for a fiver on Amazon Marketplace or something.

I agree, the recurrence of the lightbulb concept through the visuals of SFS, Cedarwood Road and UTEOTW was brilliant. The whole concept of the 1st half was, actually.
  10. Just got an email from Ticketmaster Spain, not sure if this handwritten note has been posted before... I think not:
