Not saying it can't be done, because this is U2 we're talking about, but it makes me wonder. Wouldn't mind them ditching the screen entirely, tbh.
If the rumors of outdoor shows are true, I will be very surprised and intrigued. I felt the 360 Tour setup was the crux of stage design for an outdoor venue. The design allowed organizers to maximize GA floor space and therefore stadium capacity and the 360 set-up combined with the screens gave unique experiences for both those on the floor and in the stands. Anything they do in a stadium will automatically be compared to 360, so unless they have something that can knock The Claw out of orbit, I'm not sure that's a benchmark they want to go against.
