  1. If they want to use the catwalk screen again, they could use it along the midfield in a stadium, not in one of the goals and not in a goal-to-goal direction, but (sort of) dividing the field in both halves.
  2. One of the biggest impacts of the screen, in my opinion, is the fact it was a large structure relative to the size of the venue. Plus, with the indoor setting it really did feel like a physical divide. I really find it difficult for them to emulate this with an outdoor venue, even if they scaled up the screen.

I agree with that, the way the screen made the arena feel much smaller around it is a very important part of the staging.
  4. Imagine if they do move into stadiums with some gigantic version of the arena stage. Deflated talk things from innocence to experience.

    1) they have Willie Williams. 2) they are masters of making even the hugest venues intimate.
  6. Personally I'd way rather see a tour with more extended multi night performances in a single venue [MSG, DUB] etc.
  7. I think the GA waiting experience heavily varies depending on the venue you're at. I've done GA for Angel's Stadium (CA) and The Forum (CA) and I felt both experiences were handled quite well. One thing that may have helped was the fact that people were not allowed to wait in line before 12:00 am the day of the concert, so there weren't any cases of people waiting days beforehand. The secondhand market is always going to be present regardless of the venue though. It does suck that people are out there looking to make a quick buck with questionably legit tickets, but that comes with the territory of being a concert-goer.
  8. The GA queue at Dublin 4 was a complete joke from what I heard. I saw the beginning of it as well, and it got completed mishmashed by the time people got into the venue.
  9. My hope is that the stage will look a bit different. They have to in a stadium, i don't see Bono and Edge taking a hour to get from one end to the next (althoug.... i admit it's a funny thought.. )
