  1. Now I can benefit from the missing CD versions of early U2 albums...I only have them on vinyl, so these re-releases will be absolutely no rip-offs for me. It also happened with The Joshua Tree, ne new box-set is actually my first CD version of this album.
  2. I don't think it's a rumour anymore...all 3 early albums are available for pre-order in Hungary!

    They all due for release on 20.05.2008 - 2 versions of each album: Remastered version (1 CD) and Deluxe Edition (2CD) I see no DVD's attached.

    I don't have any info on the tracklist yet.

    ehm, remastering doesn't take anything from working on the new album. It's not the band who does the work...

    btw.: the are in the studio right now.

    i know that, i meant they should foucs their energy on the future album and not on the past, besdies let's face it, a remastared album isn't that different from the original.

  8. I can't really think of a logiical tracklisting for the bonus discs on the three aklbums. Boy could have all these songs:

    The Speed of Life
    Inside Out
    Concentration Cramp

    Another Time, Another Place (Early Version)

    Twilight (Early Version)
    11 O'Clock Tick Tock
    Things to Make and Do
    Fire (Instrumental Demo)

    And maybe some more early versions of released songs. Of course the majority of the songs above have probably never been recorded in the studio. But still all these songs are possibilities, but I guess only fifteen will probably be released. Still a huge amount of songs though.

    For October there aren't really any songs left. Only the B-Side J. Swallow and perhaops A Celebration and Party Girl. They'll have to fill it up with live songs I guess.

    There a bit more possibilities for War: the B-Sides Treasure and Endless Deep, some demos and some mixes. But that probably won't be enough either, so I guess this one will also contain live performances.

    If I remember well, Bono recently got back the notebook (paper version) of the original October lyrics, and which was stolen back in the day. If they would re-record those songs to the bonus disc, that would be really great!

  12. Still no word about Boy here in Holland. They know it's coming but still no release-date or something like that.
