Although I attempted to come into the show with no predetermined expectations, the one that hung around for a while was their show duration. I don't know if I got lucky with the night I decided to see them, but the show definitely did not feel short by any stretch of the imagination. I will say Coldplay is a lot less chatty than other bands I've seen (with Bono obviously a major offender in this category, not that I mind). Because of this, I felt the show had a really nice flow to it. Also, I got Til Kingdom Come on C-Stage, so huge plus!
I had seen the Xylobands before in various videos, but I have to say it's one thing to see it and another to experience it for yourself. I had a seat in the stands and when the whole stadium lights up that first time it's an incredibly spectacle to behold. It completely changes the atmosphere of the show by allowing ambient light to come from the crowd itself. A good parallel comparison would be to think about how certain songs have an associated "color" and how show directors go about implementing that color (Streets = Orange, Pride = Blue, SBS = Green in 360).
One thing I noticed is their GA section is populated by rows of chairs instead of just an open space and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Yes, it's convenient to just sit during all the opening acts while waiting, but I always associated the GA experience with people packed in like sardines. You really get to know your neighbors that way.
Anyhow, my overall impression of the concert was incredibly favorable and I'd definitely pay to see them again. I will say they don't have a song in their arsenal that works as a "climax" of their show. Fix You is the closest thing they have, but it's definitely not on the same plane of existence as Streets, if you know what I mean.
