1. It sounds very interesting melodically, these tonality changes and the melody evolution got me hooked. What I dislike is the cheap dance feel all around it.

Also, it's unclear if it's a Kygo song featuring Bono (or more U2 members), OR a U2 song ft. Kygo (or remixed by him).
  2. From U2songs

The song was played at the end of his set, and was called “The Best Thing”. He introduced it during his set as a “brand new song I’ve never played before that I’ve made with U2.” Kygo’s manager, Jan M. Bjordal confirmed later to the media that the song was a collaboration between U2 and Kygo.

+1 - chorus definitely is a little cheap
  4. Well any new song is welcome, you don't get new stuff often with U2.
  5. Yeah, I was about to post the same. Whether it's Kygt ft Bono/U2 or U2 ft/remixed by Kygo it's very welcome and it only means good news in the sense that more new material might be about to surface soon.
  6. What if it's something like Invisible? A song that was meant to be on SOI (in this case, meant to be on SOE) in the first place but was eventually discarded, and released as a teaser instead... Hmmm.

Let's see what (if any) actions does Universal take against these clips. It might be a good trace about the song's origin. I've downloaded the youtube clip just in case
  7. Here's the full song

Guitar at the end - thoughts?

Sounds like Edge singing at the end - "The best thing"
  8. It's cool, but it's a song for a perfume commercial.
  9. I'll bet that it's a remix and not the "album version", if it appears on the album itself.

That being said, I love it
  10. Roll on the 23rd September...
