  1. He said on twitter he had issues I think.

  2. That's the most ridiculous argument I've ever heard.
So a rich man can't criticize another rich man...?
In your logic, a muslim can't have criticism on another muslim. A gay man on a gay man etc.
It never occured to you the way someone makes money and spends it makes all the difference?
One man became rich by making music, spends on employment of his close friends and families and vanishes poverty in Africa. Another by developing an IT company and giving half of it to charity. Another by real estate where the employees are treated like shit and doesn't even pay taxes for and calls himself smart for not doing it.
But yeah, they're all the same.

I think U2 cant critize someone for being rich which they did. They didnt critize him for how he spent his money just being rich at the beginning of the rant. Thats like a gay person criticizing another gay person for being gay.

  7. Am I the only one who would so, so much like it far better to be talking about U2's new songs/ new album etc in stead of bloody politics?
  8. meanwhile: the BTBS video U2 posted on facebook has now more then 4 Million views.....

And at what point did he criticize him for being rich?

    Bono literally said:
"And your point is? Well look, we're very glad for you candidate, sincerely we are. Only real question we have for you this evening: What is your vision for this great nation?"

Where's the B-man's criticism for Trump being rich? Please, do tell.

You should all pay attention on what's actually being said instead of being mad for things that haven't been said, in my unimportant opinion.

Well you're right, but that's how it goes with politics...

Exactly. Bono was basically just calling out Trump for bragging about his money as if being a rich and successful businessman - at the expense of all kinds of contractors he's treated horribly - somehow entitles him to become president of the United States. Then the band connected that to some of the divisive, offensive, fear-mongering rhetoric that Trump is using to manipulate white Americans' concern with "making America great again" at the expense of pretty much everyone else.

Bravo. I hope they keep it up. To those saying they wish we could just talk about the new album, I do understand that, but I'm also with those pointing out that this is who U2 is, for better or for worse.
