    You should all pay attention on what's actually being said instead of being mad for things that haven't been said, in my unimportant opinion.
    He literally started by counting off billions if you watch it. You should really see what alot of other people saw instead of what you wanted. Also if you look at this feed its divided their own fans so I dont think it did what its supposed to do. It divided them not based on Trump and Clinton fans but on the fact they did what they did. It would probably make alot of Britians upset to critize the Britexit in a way like this.

    I'm ok with other opinions, as long as you'd be able to prove your statement with facts. Still didn't happen.

    I think it's great that Bono (U2) has/have the balls to divide their fanbase by making a choice and letting that opinion hear. If only they tried to do that with their music some more instead of going in a ''save'' way since POP......

    After seeing the whole rant this morning, I like it a bit more. I still think that choosing in this election is very freaking hard and I haven't seen any reasons why some should vote for A or B besides of the reason that A or B is bad.

  6. The opinion is divded already, its just how far should they take their opinion. Their stance on refugees certainly has been good for America or eapecially America. What if they start rallying luke this with any europe leader who doesnt support accepting refugees. Most Europeans want to open their borders to all refugees right?

    That's not good. How is it good to divide your fanbase when its not from your music? That just sounds so dumb. If from a new musical dirsction that makes total sense and a good reason. From politics of another country.....when you are friends with politicians....when you are rich and influential.....and have done a mive with taxes that your own countrymen question, I think they are acting like someone they used to think was pompous, arrogant, and wrong.

    If there's something they don't agree with they should speak out. Why hide it? Because you will hurt some souls who can't see past your opinion?

    I think it's always good to speak out if you feel like it. They aren't offending anyone directly (besides Trump, but he kinda deserves it). I don't (100%) agree with Bono's opinion about refugees, should I hate him for it? Should I not like their music anymore?

    Exactly. It's not like because you're friend votes for another party than you, you can't be friends with him anymore...

    Well they are four individuals who have lots of opinions. For a band that is about peace and bringing people together you dont go into another country and start talking politics. Im sorry if you dont get that or if that offends you but most people are aware of that. Also any band that is personal friends with politicians is suspect to me. Im guessing you dont like rich people who think they have the best idea making decisions whether it be a politician or Bono. The refugee idea has definitely not been good for you guys. Do you want him to influence more ideas that dont work? BTW how many refugees does Bono have living at his homes? Or if he thinks Trump is corrupt, which he is, hows come U2 moved their business to the Netherlands as soon as they couldnt use the corporate tax loophole in the 90s? Which is a good reason for them not to say these things
  11. The biggest reason above all why U2 shouldnt be doing this is election season, the elections are extremely close and they are influential and have a huge stage to influence people. I dont want any band to use their stage to influence voters on their decision. Its too important to do drive by shots and not provide details

    You are mixing apples with pears or whatever that idiom is in English. U2 has always been political, have always been controversial. This hasn't started last Wednesday, just so you know. If you don't want a politically-oriented band that speaks their minds out just go to an Aerosmith concert
