I have to agree. I really don't think minorities should fear him like they do anyway.
  2. One thing I do hope happens after the election is that American citizens come together, that is putting race, religion, gender aside. I'm not a fan of either candidate but i do feel that Trump voters are being given a hard time, I've even seen people who vote for/ going to vote for him accused of being racist, homophobic, etc and that's not right. Having an opinion of a candidate is different from labelling the voters, not pointing at anyone on here btw, but just hope people can keep it classy amongst the general public when the politicians clearly can't. Hopefully in four years time the right person comes along who can genuinely connect with the majority and make a real difference.

And where did I say "directly responsible"? She voted for Iraq war, convinced Obama administration to kill gaddafi, and stood idly by and watched a coup take out the democratically elected president of Honduras because she thought he was a troublemaker.
I have the knowledge of how minorities I KNOW/DIRECTLY HAD CONVERSATIONS WITH feel. I'm not just saying this stuff to say it. These are what minorities have been saying to me personally for a year.

I have seen a lot of articles and opinions from liberals trying to understand Trump supporters. I have yet to see the same articles from Trump supporters trying to understand Hillary supporters.
Let's not kid ourselves: of course not all Trump supporters are racist, but a sizable portion are. At all Trump rallies you can hear misogyny ("lock that bitch" from 10 year olds), anti-Semitism and plain old racism ("beaners", "niggers", etc.) That is undeniable and Trump and his crazy Breitbart group brought discrimination into mainstream politics.
  5. @Release3, I'm not here to promote Trump, just know that your posts are super condescending to all the non-"white men" that have valid concerns of a Clinton victory. Talking about the 100s of minorities that you've graced with conversation and how they feel proves nothing, it's like if you were to say "my black friend said...". And if you act as condescending in real life as you do on the boards, i can see why they wouldn't want to tell you, a white man, how they really felt anyway.

I haven't witnessed myself the negativity towards voting for Hilary only negativity towards her but I'm sure it does exist and it's true that's wrong as well. I'm also sure your correct that some trump fans are racist, homophobic etc but then aren't some of Hilary's' also? Maybe not visibly but I'm sure it's true. The point I'm trying to make is sure there are racist, homophobic, sexist people out there and we're not going to change them so they can live there sad life but there's a lot of good guys out there being mis-labelled, generalised and it isn't fair.

  7. Btw just because I posted those Bernie tweets doesn't mean I like Trump in the slightest, it was just in response to posts above.

From what I've read, he has some great supreme court nominees and Pence is renowned for being very tolerant towards the LGBT community. (sarcasm)

Don't forget they're all stupid, deplorable, uneducated, brainwashed rednecks, too...

America won't come together. You have two parties that see to that. That's their job. Keep us all divided. "You take that demographic and we'll take this one and tell them everything thats wrong about the other and how we'll give you everything you need if you just give us control." Thats why you'll never have change. You need to have checks and balance and cant let one become too powerful, but when you only have left and right and no middle, you'll always end in a stalemate.

And "by the people, for the people" LMAO.

But I'm still waiting to be told how government works...

Bernie also said we can't elect someone who assaults women as President.
  10. Obviously we all see things in different perspectives. I cant stand either candidate and dont see a lesser evil scenario. I have equal disdain for both candidates, but I get the dynamics of left and right. And as an outsider, its an interesting to see the validity of certain points and the hypocrisies of others on both sides. My only hope is that whatever the outcome may be, I pray (hard) that whoever gets elected, she really does unite, and really does prosper and advance us beyond the stagnant, same old bullshit as usual... at the end of the day, I'm an American. I want our country to thrive. And I hope that I am proved wrong in time. You all are a great bunch of folks and our differences are part of what keeps it interesting here in the place where we are united over one thing. Only us! Peace y'all.
  11. I saw this today. Apparently Clinton made Bernie support her. This lady is some kind of evil. WTF!

“This isn’t in keeping w the agreement,” Mook wrote to Podesta of the supposed Sanders infraction. “Since we clearly have some leverage, would be good to flag this for him. I could send a signal via Welch–or did you establish a direct line w him?”
