read up on how much he is going to f everything up......like the planet! Lets destroy our national parks for oil exploration! Lets abolish abortion so no woman will have a safe medical procedure!.....lets make america white again. lets torture anyone who is not white and the same as the good ole boys......Yes, there are many of us who are frightened not just for america but for the planet! Why do you think ISIS is rejoicing! More recruits for them!
If you seriously think Trump is capable of destroying everything good about the U.S. or even wants to then I think your very mistaken. There's no evidence to say he wants to make America white again, I think he wants America to have the most talented people from all over the world and welcome those who have a skill to give to the country, what he doesn't want is people who come into the country illegally and work for next to nothing taking potential work away for U.S. citizens who are unemployed and paying no taxes in the mean time.
  2. it is so great that all you get from his message is positivism and growth. I was here watching what he said and did for the past year while campaigning. He made fun of a disabled person, bragged about grabbing women by the pussy and many other HORRIBLE things. AND this EXPERT who is going to fix things actually filed for bankruptcy SIX TIMES and hasn't paid a dime of tax for 19 YEARS!!!! Nobody in their right mind would see such a positive and wonderful man! This creep showed us his true colors and thin skinner character! He is a threat to free speech too. I could go on.........

The things he said were all aimed at causing a stir and getting attention, I've said before I would rather he went about it a different way but it was obviously his tactic to win and it worked. Again what he says and what he actually believes could well be and most likely are different things. He is definitely not a threat to free speech in fact I'd say quite the opposite as he's not the type of person to be easily offfended. His comment about grabbing woman by the pussy wasn't a remark saying he'd actually done that but a throwaway remark that when your rich you can, he didn't say he personally does it and i don't think he does, I certainly don't think he touched women without there consent. As for mocking a disabled person he has a very different story to tell on that one however I would rather look into more video footage to come to a fair conclusion of whether he did or not and I'm not dismissing that one before I do see more. Again I don't think some of the things he's said are clever but I don't see the hatred or passion behind it either just perhaps a bit naive or maybe ignorant at worst.
  4. Just to follow up on my previous post, didn't take long but I just watched the clip of trump mocking the reporter and yes that was bad, in fact I'd say that was worse than everything everyone else seems to be going on about, again I don't think this means that he's going to cause suffering to disabled people or doesn't take disabilities seriously. I understand how it is offensive though and I do understand why Mexicans have been offended as well but all I'm saying is i don't think he's going to out his way to make life difficult for the people he has offended intentionally or otherwise. What if he ends up financially helping people with disabilities and offering support would that not be more significant than an insensitive remark he made?
  5. If Aaron was still on these forums then I wouldn't be able to post right now, because the thread would have been shut down with a gigantic padlock on it.

(Light-hearted post to make things just a little sweeter.)
  6. I dread to think of the chaos in this topic if Aaron was around.
  7. I'm moving over to the drunk thread. It's less amusing and more intellectual over there.
  8. I had to get away from this site for a few days. It's not fun to post here anymore, but I'll give it a try one more time.

    1. I cannot believe you are normalizing Trump here. No, he is not just bluffing and he has shown he is a bigot, not just in his speeches. He said and I quote "when Mexico brings their people [...] they're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists, and some, I assume are good people". You are saying "Hillary said the same", (conveniently, no evidence was presented). Now, Hillary was in favor of deportation of illegal immigrants (not now) and even Obama deported more people than Bush. We can discuss about the policies on immigration, but in what universe is "Mexico sends criminal and rapists" the same as being in favor of deporting illegals? That is not the same thing! That is the same false equivalency BS that allowed Trump to win. What he said was xenophobic, and it goes beyond a policy on immigration.

    2. You are taking the "Pence" strategy defending Trump. Just shook your head and say "he never said that". Everything is on the record. You don't think Trump's words mean a thing? How many tyrants, despots and criminals we had in the XXth century because we believed "they were going to change once they were in power" or "I thought they were just bluffing". I just read about a white woman who voted for Trump but she needs Obamacare for her treatments. She just said "I thought he was just bluffing about eliminating Obamacare", It's not just what he says, which is ignorant and offensive enough, it's what he does. He discriminated against black people while renting apartments in NY, he stiffed his workers, declare bankruptcy, collect checks and then leave his employees screwed without paying them, multiple women have come forward about Trump sexually harassing them and firing them for not accepting his advances. He is on record saying that he can do whatever he wants for being famous. He has said multiple gross things about women, what else you need?

    3. Steve Brannon is a known anti-semite, xenophobic bigot. Founder of the so called "alt-right" and Breitbart, the website that brought us these articles: "Bill Kristol: Republican Spoiler, Renegade Jew". or "There's no hiring bias for women in tech, they just suck at interviews", "Birth Control Makes Women Unattractive and Crazy" This guy ran Trump's campaign and he is now Trump's chief strategist. Let that sink for a while. If that is not a close ally of Trump, I don't know who is, or shall we discuss Roger Ailes, the sexual harasser in Fox News that coached Trump even until the final days of his campaign?

    4. When you make wild conspiracy theories, like Hillary killed Seth Rich, since you are making these crazy assertions, you have the burden of proof. You need to show us some evidence to your assertions. The fact is that Seth Rich died (which is a tragedy) and he had a job at the DNC. Then Assange, which is not exactly an example of political neutrality, said that he was assassinated because he was cooperating with hackers leaking DNC emails. The connection? Delusion. Not even his family believes that.
There were 5 official investigations about the death of Vince Foster, another favorite for conspiracy theorists. They all ruled it was a suicide, but hey, who needs facts when we have conspiracy theories galore?

    5. Trump believes a judge cannot do his job because he's Mexican (he is not). Even Republican golden boy Paul Ryan said that was "the textbook definition of racism". He pursued the racist birther conspiracy theory with the first US black president, he still believed the Central Park 5 were guilty because they were minorities, even when the DNA evidence showed they were innocent, he insulted a Gold Star family just because they were muslims. How can you say that "his words don't show he's a bigot". What about his actions then?

  9. I agree. It's not as fun as it was.
  10. hiccup!

The fact that this needs to be said, in great length.... again, is pretty embarrassing. 'Tis why we have President Elect Donald Trump now. "What is brexit" hahaha
