  2. By "before he took office" do you mean "before he became President" or "before he started his political career? This is the problem I have with people when they talk about "political insiders." When people say they don't like "political insiders" running the country, their rhetoric sounds great when you turn off your brain. But if you took a second to think about it, you'd realize how little that statement actually makes sense. Imagine if hospitals looking to hire doctors told their applicants, "you know, we see you've put a lot of time working at various clinics and you've gone through medical school, but I'm afraid we aren't looking for 'medical insiders' to work at our hospital." Think about how ridiculous that scenario would be. One might be tempted to respond, saying "well that's clearly an overblown hypothesis," but they'd then have to contest with the fact Trump has been elected into the highest political office with zero political experience and zero understanding of what the job actually entails and people across the country are now coming to realize that. He didn't realize he had to provide his own staff and that President Obama's staff will leave once he does. If I had to guess, I think he's eased his attacks on President Obama and his allies because he's realized how monumentally fucked he would be if they all left him out to fend for himself in the transition.
  3. Donald Trump is poised to eliminate all climate change research conducted by Nasa as part of a crackdown on “politicized science”, his senior adviser on issues relating to the space agency has said.

    Nasa’s Earth science division is set to be stripped of funding in favor of exploration of deep space, with the president-elect having set a goal during the campaign to explore the entire solar system by the end of the century.

    This would mean the elimination of Nasa’s world-renowned research into temperature, ice, clouds and other climate phenomena. Nasa’s network of satellites provide a wealth of information on climate change, with the Earth science division’s budget set to grow to $2bn next year. By comparison, space exploration has been scaled back somewhat, with a proposed budget of $2.8bn in 2017.


    The man who won an election through gerrymandering, voting suppression, fake news, not-so-veiled racism and a politicized FBI complains about "politicized science" because science showed we are causing global warming and exhausting our natural resources and rich dudes still want to get away with polluting the environment .

    Because politics is extremely corrupt and there is no accountability. A career politician means they chose a profession with no accountability and where corruption is the norm.
  5. Listen to this GREAT NEWS! just about 30 minutes ago it was announced that there will be a recount of votes in Wisconsin......there is possible computer hacking and fraud. This is really going to happen! I am so excited that maybe, hopefully, prayerfully Rump will NEVER BE SWORN IN!!!! Please GOD!

    So let me get this straight. You're saying you'd rather trust somebody with zero political experience over somebody with political experience to run a country?     Here's the truth: Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by more than 2 million votes, despite heavy voting restriction on poor neighborhoods and university campuses on states controlled by the GOP like Wisconsin and North Carolina.
  12. listen, this recount is the little glimmer of hope that we wont have this jerk as our president.......and yes, they are trying to get a recount in PA and minnesota, too.....we will know more this week......now cry baby Rump is saying there were illegals and dead people voting.....we shall see Mr Rump...........i am praying that your slimy little self will go crawl back into your gold plated apartment on fifth avenue and leave our nice little planet alone.......
